Selecting Coffee Grind Size

For the freshest tasting coffee, it is always preferred to grind your coffee as close to your brewing time as possible.  It can have a significant impact on the taste and perceived strength of your brew.  Grind size is best dictated by your desired brewing method and typically corresponds to the actual brew time...shorter brew times (Espresso) will require a much finer grind versus a much coarser grind for longer brew times (French press). Grind size can be a great way to fine tune your coffee.  Below, we have provided a standard grind form many of the typical brew methods.  These are simple a starting point for your guidance.  Feel free to experiment.
