We are excited about a new organically produced coffee from the mountainous region of northern Nicaragua surrounding Jinotega. Supported by a cooperative representing over 5,000 small farmers, Aldea Global assists small farmers in sustainability and access to new markets. Founded in 1992, with a focus on environmental conservation and social impact, Aldea shares a similar vision of the future.
The coffee has a classic Nicaraguan flavor profile that is well balanced with bright, clean acidity and mild sweetness, milk chocolate and caramel. This versatile coffee is best roasted to a Medium to Medium-Dark profile.
